This Frog dance taken from Tantri story, where this story told about animal’s life and the existence along with their pertained with both of animal and human being.
Told about in Daha’s Kingdom there is a King’s daughter who very beautiful, her name is Galuh daha. One day Galuh daha was playing in the middle of Castle’s Garden accompanying by her lady in waiting. When she reached in Garden she met a good frog. Because they often meet each other and fascinated by kindhearted of frog, more and more time the princess fell in love with that frog.
Everyday they meet each other and expressing their love in the middle of the castle’s garden. Because the depth of love, then that frog asked permission from the princess for go to Setra Ganda Mayu (graveyard) to hermit and begging to Dewi Dhurga to give him bless for change himself become a human being. Because of his firm heart and his obedient in doing hermit, so Dewi Dhurga willing to change him become a human being.
Then that frog who has change be human being named Rahaden Mantri met Sang Galuh Daha for proposing married to Princess, yet after met his lover, the princess didn’t believe that the man in front of her is her lover, and princess get angry to Rahaden Mantri. To convince the princess, so Rahaden Mantri beg to Dewi Dhurga to come down and giving an explanation to the princess. After that the princess love Rahaden Mantri more and more then they get married.
